A week with our Buyers

Twice a year everyone who’s anyone reunites in Milan, Italy for the biggest shoe show of the year: MICAM Shoe Event. Our group of buyers reserved the date and flew over to the fashion capital to visit this marvelous exposition. Between the shoes, the romantic restaurants and the architectural inspiration it would not be hard to hate them. Just the Fiera Milano by itself which was the venue for the show was breathtaking. At the show as well as visiting the city they went place to place seeking new designs and fashion-forward ideas.

At night time our buyers reunited at places like Galleria Vittorio Emanuele which has several shops and restaurants full of romantic and antique details. The gallery connects to Piazza del Duomo. What a dream right? Even though it all sounds so glamorous the trip is exhausting but totally worth it since with every step you take you fall more in love with the city and the small details it has treasured in every corner. Who would’ve known that a business trip could be so enchanting?

The buyers found reflection of what they wanted to bring into our stores in all kinds of material objects you can think of. Even in the cars like the Aston Martin Cygnet, compact yet sexy and alluring. When you think of it these contribute perfectly to an outstanding shoe style! For those who can’t afford a trip across the world they still have a very good option: get a shoe piece which represents all the elements of cities like Milan.
